The Adventure Guide Diploma is a highly regarded leader in the adventure industry education field. It is a 2 year course that entails Outdoor skill development, field trips, and student lead expeditions. To promote a will rounded diversification of adventure activities and theoretical topics.

Our Mission Statement
The Nepal 2010 Expedition intends to push their whitewater kayaking and leadership abilities on some of the highest rivers in the world while representing the TRU Adventure Studies Department. This expedition will be used as an instrument in which we will gain the knowledge to plan an expedition through the stages of initial planning, execution and successful completion. Through interaction with local guides and experts, the Nepal Expedition is determined to achieve field based education while promoting a cultural exchange of customs, ideologies and technical skills. We are also excited to be supporting thirteen Nepalese guides in their pursuit of becoming Certified Mountain and Trekking guides. This training, which is financially unfeasible for many, will be made possible through our fund-raising efforts at TRU.
